Task manager will not close it. Note: The problem was reportedly caused by the large number of entries added to the Firefox hostperm.1 file. could mean lots of things. The add-ons I had when I was using 3.6 are not compatible to version 4 and I don't think they will upgrade those add-ons. his comment is here

Firefox Not Responding 2016
That suddenly reminded me that, even though the two computers had very similar hardware, there was one parameter that I had overlooked: The amount of memory in the two computers. I'm now running Ubuntu 10.04 (the same OS under which I initially encountered the problem) on a yet another computer, and it, too, displays the page without any issues. I am using firefox 35 and it works but if I lose internet connection it reproduces the hang. Unless there is a different area these crash reports may be stored.

But when I access the support forum in safe mode it doesn't crash when I try to post something on here, but the other websites such as Weebly still do. when a solution is found.

Currently a crash hang report is created once the application force quits, but it does not sound like this is happening. Looks like firefox has some compatibility issues with F-Secure software. The Connection Settings dialog appears. Works for about a minute and then hangs.
