I've stopped the background slide show and have just the one pic instead - and it all works!! You can also go back to opening File Explorer to Quick access rather than This PC by selecting “Quick access” from the “Open File Explorer to” drop-down list on the Folder But the scrolling still jumps up to the top of the page when the picture changes, as you discovered Rob.

So - if you want the slideshow and you want to live with the issue - just move the time to allow you enough time to work in the File Folders.
