It only happens to Firefox and it may well be limited to Windows XP, or to me for that matter! Does anyone know how to bring that window back and/or prevent this from happening again? After last firefox update the toolbar at top of screen and the taskbar at bottom of End result: You have to go through the fastidious C: path, as I showed before, in order to have the FF shortcut pinned to the taskbar.

Reply if not solved... It comes back briefly if I toggle F11 on and then off. This one can be dragged to the Desktop and pinned to the Taskbar without resistance... However, I note one strange behavior: the File Explorer icon seems to disappear sometimes from the Taskbar.
